After completing an orthopaedic surgery residency and then fellowship in joint replacement at the world renowned Cleveland Clinic Foundation, Dr. Biggs entered into private practice in Massillon, Ohio. His joint replacement practice quickly grew to well over 400 joint replacements per year. The practice developed into a tertiary referral center for other orthopaedic surgeons who utilized Dr. Biggs’ expertise in revision joint reconstruction surgery. He was instrumental in the development of two hospital-based joint replacement centers as well as providing daily education for orthopaedic surgery residents.

During his time in Ohio, Dr. Biggs served as a national instructor for orthopaedic surgeons, teaching and developing their surgical skills utilizing minimally invasive joint replacement. His practice also served as a site for multi-center investigational studies for developing new implants and procedures.

Dr. Michael Havig is a board certified orthopedic surgeon who completed additional fellowship training in sports medicine at The Orthopaedic Speciality Hospital. He has been practicing in his hometown of Naples for the past 14 years. He is a US Ski Team physician and has provided orthopedic care to OlympicAthletes at the 1996 Summer and the 2002 Winter Olympic Games. Dr. Havig is the team physician for Naples High School

Dr. George Markovich is a recognized expert in joint reconstructive surgery emphasizing minimally invasive, tissue preserving techniques. His approach to patient care is simple: the most advanced state of the art techniques for the best possible outcomes in a caring environment.

George Markovich, MD, FACS received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida and his medical degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine. Graduating with distinction, he was awarded a Health Profession Scholarship. Following his medical school training, Dr. Markovich completed a fellowship in orthopaedic biomechanics and advanced rehabilitative research at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He performed his internship and orthopaedic residency at the University of Southern California. He also completed two fellowships in joint implants and reconstructive surgery, was Chief of Total Joint and Reconstructive Services for the U.S. Navy, and was the orthopaedic provider to the Navy SEALs.
